I got my silver iPhone 8 today and it's gorgeous. I really love it.

Went to see this for the first time and I must say...the photo quality is downright amazing...very impressed as I will wait out for the X.

Not much of new features to see in this iPhone 8. Boring.

Wow, the A11 smashes on the competition lol. I'm sure everyday users wouldn't give two cares about that. But damn, that's impressive. Even considering it is pushing a much tolerable screen resolution and lighter OS.

Best in the market until iPhone X. The others can compete with iPhone 6S.

Your comments are funny and ambiguous.

Best in the market in what aspect? From what I've seen so far it's just the plain old same design and the new A11 performance is seriously underwhelming despite it's very high single core performance. It doesn't seem to be worth buying a new iPhone 8 if you have a 6(Plus) or younger model. Arguably the best smartphone available right now is the Note 8, better than the iPhone 8 at the very least.

...The 6S is the better value compared to the X, clearly.

The only redeeming features that this phone has is the new chip and wireless charging(finally). Otherwise, different year, same thing.

But thay new chip despite it's impressive Geekbench scores gets beaten by the Note 8 in speed.

Lmao, you're high if you believe that.

I've seen it on video, side by side comparison, the iPhone 8 Plus next to a Note 8 and in about 2/3 of the test the Note 8 is faster then the iPhone 8 Plus. The iPhone 8 in several instances shows a stall while reloading apps. Just proves once again that Geekbench tells you jack sh*t about real life performance. I honestly expected the Note 8 to lose badly as did the person who made the video.

To me it sounds like they don't know how else to promote this phone. strongest glass? wireless charging which aren't new, and AR stuff? and animoji? let see if this will happening or not, to me it sound s like 'bloatware'. My iPad Pro was buggy after the update, how about yours?

Sorry for the late response, but mine is buggy, and laggy. I figure the next update should fix it, but Apple is know for fixing one thing, and breaking another with updates.

Not a problem bro, everyone has things to do. There some problem like force close an apps like when i play games or just doing some web browsing, and i notice true tone working strange, the screen looks dim instead of changing color.

My main issue is scroll lag. Sometimes I gotta swipe 2-3 times to get a page to scrolling. A couple crashes too, but mostly scrolling issues. I have the 12.9, from last year, so true tone won’t apply to mine.

Ok this being Apple, let us drink the truth that, they have used same design 4 years in a row. But bundling an 5W charger into a premium "priced" smartphone in 2017-18. I cant buy that at all. That is ridiculously cheap call from best company in the world. Seriously they are worst than what I thought them to be.. :(

I don't even see why Apple releases this phone. They Should've did a 10, and 10 Plus. This is a simple rehash, glass back, and wireless charging. The glass back is simply the gateway to wireless charging. Hgoering, waddaya think pal?

I would've been fine if they had just one phone in the X, and used the remaining resources to acquire more X parts instead of releasing these two. Although, the camera has surpassed what I expected from preliminary reviews, so it's not all bad. The big/small combo just isn't as attractive in 2017 as it was in 2014.

That would've worked as well, just don't get why this device even exists. Imagine the X only in, 64, 128, 256, and 512.

Computing Forever said it best, run your perfectly usable 6S to the ground before spending any more on someone else's definition of new.

It's a good thing you can buy want you want and nobody forces you to buy anything you don't want. You care about Apple too much, apparently.
