For those of you who have been waiting patiently for the Android 4.2.2 update to roll out to the Sony Xperia Z, it looks like your wait may finally be over. We've received a couple of tips today that have shown that the update has started rolling out around the world, and there are even leaked images so you can get it right now, if you want.

The leaks show that the Android 4.2.2 update has begun rolling out to the Xperia Z model C6603, which is the unlocked international variant of the device. We have seen confirmation from China as well as Spain that the update is making its way out to users. There are also leaked versions of the install image if you want to get them. But, the instructions to manually update are in Spanish, so you are 100% on your own if you decide to try that.
