AT&T and Sprint now serving up the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Gear smartwatch
If you're hungry for the next iteration of Samsung's phablet line, and also looking for some dessert, both AT&T and Sprint are now offering the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch. The Galaxy Note 3 has been described in many words, but you have to love how Sprint is positioning the model, saying that it is designed for the early adopters craving the most advanced mobile technology.

At the nation's third largest carrier, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is $249.99 which includes $100 in savings for those porting over their number from another carrier and signing a new two-year contract.  The phone is available in Jet Black or Classic White. The Samsung Galaxy Gear watch, which right now works only with the phablet, is priced at $299 although it doesn't yet show up on the operator's website.

AT&T is offering the 5.7 inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for $299.99 with a two year pact, also in Jet Black or Classic White. The Samsung Galaxy Gear watch can be purchased in tasty colors like lime green, wild orange, jet black, oatmeal beige or rose gold for $299.

From now through November 19th, AT&T customers buying the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can take $200 off the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 or $150 off the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1.

Anyone know the bands for the Sprint version? It must run on 1900 and 800 MHz LTE in order to even be considered by me. 2500MHz would be nice but I don't seeing that being a huge factor

not have triband. only 800 and 1900mhz. LG G2 will be the first triband phone.

It looks like 800 is CDMA only. 1900mhz is the only LTE band. SUCKS...I would have gotten one today but now i'm going to wait and see what else comes out. I love the Note though so i'm upset.

Not buying the Note 3 from AT&T because of the locked boot loader.. I love my custom roms to much!!

Same here on Verizon. And even if the bootloader was unlocked Verizon will stop at nothing to relock it like they did with the S4. What if I have to do a warranty swap and they give me a replacement with an unlockable bootloader? Just not willing to take that risk with non-Nexus devices anymore. That’s why I picked the iPhone 5s and a Nexus 7. You know you’re getting timely updates on both devices and the Nexus tablet will always have an unlocked bootloader. The iPhone is the daily driver and the Nexus 7 is my hobby/entertainment device.

I can honestly tell you that you don't need custom rom on the note 3.

I didn't do my homework before buying mine. Luckily there's a 14 day window. I need a rooted device.

Gotta love the Sprint's description of the Note 3: Who will love it: Discerning early adopters who crave the most advanced mobile technology on the market which also represents the pinnacle of sophistication, beauty and raw processing power. Die-hard tech enthusiasts whose foremost purpose is to seek the most superlative iteration of such on the market, and for whom sporting such a sizeable silhouette in their pockets is anything but cumbersome – it's a status symbol. BTW, Sprint also has the $200 savings on the Tab 2 10.1.

Got mine today from AT&T, love it coming from an S3. Got to admit the back is kinda attractive and has a rubbery feel making it non slippery and got the Ggear watch too first thought it would be junk by the feel but pretty useful like I had my phone in the other room and my watch was telling me I had a incoming call, still playing with it but it's growing on me quick. Trust the good reviews about both these devices guys, pretty darn cool stuff. Sooo many features it took me an hour just to tweek and still tweeking here and there. Sent by my Note 3

I saw the Note 3 at an AT&T store in St. Louis today and I love the device. I played with it for about 30 minutes and I can honestly see myself using the device on a regular basis. I also have the S3 and I need a phone thats as big as I am (6'7" 240lb). I plan on upgrading soon and the Note 3 is on my radar
