6 features that the HTC One M9 has but the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge do not
Well, guys, the MWC excitement is slowly cooling down and transforming into anticipation for the announced gadgets to hit the shelves. Out of all the goodies that were presented, we ended up with a total of three flagships, brought to the world by two major players in the mobile market – Samsung and HTC. Well, technically, Samsung announced two variants the same phone – and we are talking about the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 edge, of course (check here for how they differ) – which only vary by a minor margin.

So, of course, we're interested in how the two most interesting smartphones from each of these companies measure up in all their aspects, and how each manufacturer decided to play their cards when designing them. So, let's take a look at some features, and more specifically – let's check out the five features, which the HTC One M9 has, but the Galaxy S6 edge does not.

Good job "prophet" or should I say: MyPhoneIsBetterThanYours? Is that your face? Did you shoot that with the "doice-activated selfie" camera that Peter K says here?

Why is a feature of expendable storage bothering you? Your prefer a phone without it? I was actually surprised that the 1080 screen isn't listed as a feature. For me 1080 is a bonus over 1440 on this size of device.

nah. i meant that its absence is what bothers me much.. i agree with you on 1080p.. we would have got good battery power..

As far as ''useful'' features are concerned...the M9 wins easily Would you be able to notice the difference in SOUND? - Yep Would you be able to notice the difference in storage space? - Yep Would you be able to notice the difference in gaming? -Yep, the 1080p will struggle ''less'' Would you be able to notice the difference in display clarity? - Probably Nope Would you be able to notice the difference in picture/video quality? -Remains to be seen

you would be able to notice the clarity difference, i wasn't sure about 2k displays on phones at first but after buying the note 4, i would never go back to a full hd one. After you use it for a while, full hd seems less detailed when vieing high resoultion pictures. I know there are articles that say it isn't possible to notice the difference, that is why i wasn't sure about 2k displays but trust me.. you have to use it for a while to believe it.

I have owned an LG G3 for a couple of months and a Xiaomi Mi3 sorry...can't justify the benefits of a Quad HD on phones when most contents are maxed out at 1080p........I'm not talking about wallpapers here lol I have a 20/20 vision btw......neither near sighted or far sighted

i have 20/20 vision too and im a photographer. My pictures more detailed on the note 4. i don't know, maybe the display has to bigger than 5.5'' but i notice the difference in clarity between a note 4 and a note 3

dude. lg g3 quad hd sucks. i had it. it is good compared to some 1080p but it sucked. compare this quad hd to the note 4's quad hd and you will see how bad it is.

LOL...are you comparing Samsung's QHD with LG G3's LCD ?! They are world apart my friend. Check this out:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YCpcEtokiJ0 Its GS5 LTE-A (with QHD compared to LG G3)

Lol what you are see is not clarity but color and brightest. That nothing to do with resolution.

Exactly ! Inspite of having the same resolution the difference between both the displays are night and day. So GreekGeek's original point of seeing no difference between Xiaomi and LG G3 is invalid. Its more to do with display then resolution. That's why he didn't see the difference. In short, don't just compare resolution but all the attributes of the display to see the difference.

Not talking about wallpapers? You can watch Youtube in 2k, you will be able to play 4k movies, what about the videos and pictures you ll shoot? I'd rather have a futureproof screen with the S6, than the 1080 on the m8s, which is offered in a lower priced phone.

Put the quad HD phone in the Gear VR and you will notice a huge difference compared to only Full HD.

also S6 is lighter and thinner, that is useful and noticable, and im sure S6, like the note 4, will come with fast charging. M8 took 3 hours to charge to full. I dont know if M9 will take that long though. better screen to size ratio is also useful and noticable. Fingerprint scanner, useful and noticable. So are the rest of the S6/S6 edge features

S6 support Qualcom Quick Charge 2.0 & it has smaller battery, so it will charge faster.

Samsung Galaxy S6 has a Samsung Exynos chip so it does not support Qualcomm Quick Charge anyways. However, Samsung's chip may have a different quick charge mode.

My Galaxy Note 4 has quick charging mode and it's really quick. Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 is nothing but a marketing term, not special tech, so it can be enabled on almost any smartphone.

It is a good thing. Quick charge kill your phone battery a lot faster.

32. gueAHOK

No. it won't. Raisng the AMP will kill your phone battery faster. Raising the volt won't kill your battery.

31. gueAHOK

No it's not. Other quick charing method is simply making the amp goes higher. Which is NOT good and dangerous. Qualcom Quick Charge 2.0 is raising the voltage so it's better. The thing is the device must be able to be charge with higher voltage or it will be fried. The Quick Charge 2.0 is a smart charging method that have a handshake between the charger and the phone to negotiate with voltage to use.

I also though that Quick charge only available on qualcom chip. But someone here point out that samsung said the Galaxy Note 4 quick charger that support quick charge 2.0 is compatible with s6.

I'm disappointed that htc did not include the quick charge 2 for the m9. It was a bonus they should have added for the phone. an htc employee confirmed it wont have it

HTC has a camera humps but let not pretend that the S6 is thin. The camera humps on the S6 is huge like 3 or 4 mm

Lmao the S6 is even worse than the S5 or the Note 4.
