The event will take place in New York City for the second consecutive year.
A leak from French outlet Dealabs suggests retail availability will begin on August 20, 2026, with pre-orders opening on announcement day.
Google has also launched a pre-order promo ahead of the event. US residents 18 or older can sign up for Google marketing emails between July 15 (10 AM PT) and August 7 (11:59 PM PT) to receive a promo code by email on August 11, redeemable on the Google Store through August 27 at 11:59 PM PT. One code per customer.
Pixel 11 price and deals
A pricing leak from Dealabs – a French outlet with a strong track record on pre-order pricing – points to a roughly €100 (~$114) increase across all Pixel 11 models in Europe, with the UK seeing a similar £80 (~$107) jump compared to the Pixel 10. US pricing hasn't leaked specifically, but a comparable increase seems likely.
Google has now confirmed the price increase is coming. In an interview with 9to5Google, Google's Vice President of Devices and Services Shakil Barkat cited a "severe, supplier-driven RAM crisis" as the driving force, pointing to Morgan Stanley data showing the cost of 1GB of RAM rising sixfold – from $2.80 in 2025 to $12 in 2026.

Google has promised trade-in deals, promotions, and bundled offerings like Google One to help offset the higher prices.
One partial consolation: base storage is reportedly moving from 128GB to 256GB across the Pixel 11 lineup, so you get more storage for the higher price.
| Pixel model | 128GB of storage | 256GB of storage | 512GB of storage | 1TB of storage |

A recent leak, reportedly sourced from Amazon product listings, puts the Pixel 11's starting price at $899 for the 256 GB model. The 512 GB model is reportedly priced at $1,019.
Pixel 11 deals to expect:
- Google: Usually Google offers generous trade-in discounts for new phones. The discounts are even better if you're trading in a Pixel phone, and Google will likely stick to that playbook this year.
- Verizon: Verizon historically offers the base Pixel model practically for free, often with trade-ins or new lines.
- AT&T: AT&T also offers huge discounts when trading in an old phone. You may also see significant discounts on the monthly payment with an eligible unlimited plan.
- T-Mobile: T-Mobile is likely to offer a Pixel 11 "On Us" with either a new line or an eligible phone for trade-in.
Pixel 11 camera
Pixel 11 expected camera setup:
- 50 MP main
- 13 MP ultra-wide
- 10.8 MP 5x telephoto
- 10.5 MP selfie camera
Telegram leaker Mystic Leaks now claims that Google has prepped a new 50 MP sensor for the Pixel 11, codenamed "chemosh". The tipster doesn't reveal specs for this new sensor, most likely intended for the phone's main camera.
Other camera upgrades for the Pixel 11 have not been rumored thus far.
The Pixel 10's camera system was upgraded with a new 5X telephoto lens, which is the same zoom level as on the Pro models. Overall, the Pixel 10 did very well in our Camera Score. The phone struggled a bit with details in zoom and in the ultra-wide video, but overall, we found the cameras reliable.
The Pixel 10 also packed plenty of AI camera features, including a somewhat gimmicky Camera Coach. Reportedly, the Pixel 11 may bring an upgraded Cinematic Blur mode, and many of the AI features for photos should come to videos this time around.
Pixel 11 storage
The Dealabs leak confirms the Pixel 11 will start at 256GB, with a 512GB option above it – dropping the 128GB tier that previous Pixel generations started with.
Pixel 11 expected storage capacity:
- 256 GB
- 512GB
Pixel 11 design
The Pixel 11 design likely is not changing much from that of its predecessor, as recently leaked renders show:

Judging by the renders, the horizontal camera pill called 'camera bar' is making a return with a slight change: its color appears black while before it matched the phone's color.
Meanwhile, leaked CAD renders from Android Headlines and OnLeaks reveal that the base Pixel 11 will maintain a footprint virtually identical to its predecessor (152.8 x 72 x 8.5 mm), shaving off a mere 0.1 mm in thickness.
The images themselves point to a more modern look with noticeably slimmer bezels. However, the data presents a paradox: the leaked chassis dimensions are completely unchanged, and the display is widely rumored to remain at 6.3 inches. Unless Google is making subtle adjustments to the panel's corner curvature, it is physically impossible for the bezels to shrink significantly within this same footprint.

It's important to remember that these renders are built entirely on raw CAD schematics designed for case manufacturers. Because CAD files focus strictly on physical boundaries rather than display aesthetics, finer details like the bezel size are notoriously inaccurate and often appear exaggerated at this stage.
A separate leak puts the final dimensions at 152.6 x 71.9 x 8.4mm and the weight at 204 grams – slightly different from the earlier CAD-based figures of 152.8 x 72 x 8.5mm, though the two are close enough to suggest the overall size picture is largely settled.
Now, Pixel 11 wallpapers have leaked, suggesting that Google may shake things up with the Pixel 11 colors this time around:
Leaked Pixel 11 wallpapers. | Images by Images by Mystic Leaks
Google typically matches its wallpapers to phone colors, but two leaks tell slightly different stories here. The wallpaper filenames from Mystic Leaks suggested green, purple, pink, and black – with codenames Moss, Sterling Light, Fuchsia, and Midnight Haze.
The more recent Dealabs leak, which potentially draws from actual retail product listings, lists the colors as Light Sterling (gray), Midnight Haze (black), Fuchsia (pink), and Moss (green) – dropping purple entirely and replacing it with gray. We're treating the Dealabs version as the more likely final lineup, but nothing is official until August 12, 2026.
- Light Sterling (gray)
- Midnight Haze (black)
- Fuchsia (pink)
- Moss (green)
High-quality renders from MyMobiles are now giving us a much clearer look at all four shades from multiple angles. Compared to the Pixel 10's lineup of Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass, Frost maps closely to Light Sterling and Obsidian to Midnight Haze – making pink (Fuchsia) and green (Moss) the two genuinely new finishes this generation.

As for the materials, those are likely to remain glass on the front and back and aluminum for the frame.

A leaked Pixel 11 Pro case also hints that the camera bar may get slimmer, which is a change that may also trickle down to the base Pixel 11.
One interesting recent leak from Android 17 code suggests Google may bring a new Pixel Glow feature to the Pixel 11. The code was found in Android 17 Beta 4 and mentions "Pixel Glow".
The feature appears to use an array of LEDs on the back of the phone to signal notification activity when the device is face down. Users would reportedly be able to assign one of eight colors to specific contacts or app types – for example, one color for work messages, another for missed calls. Specific pulse patterns may also indicate things like Gemini recording audio, a critically low battery, or a full charge.
Google has now offered the first official look at Pixel Glow via a teaser video released ahead of the August 12 event. Rather than a light strip around the camera bar, as many expected, the feature appears to sit in the same location as the flashlight, cycling through colors.

The eight-color, per-contact customization from earlier leaks remains unconfirmed until the full reveal. The teaser also confirmed a gold finish on the Pixel 11 Pro, and included the tagline "The next generation. Google Pixel 11. August 12."
Pixel 11 display

|---|---|---|
| Pixel 11 | 6.3 inches* | 3,000* |

The Pixel 11 is likely keeping the 10's 6.3-inch display. Potentially, it's getting an M16 material upgrade - the newest and most advanced display material out there.
M16 OLED would give the Pixel 11 a brighter display, more accurate color reproduction, and even better power efficiency compared to the M14 panels that the Pixel 10 Pro, the Galaxy S26, and the iPhone 17 have.
This upgrade should be most visible in outdoor lighting conditions. It may also help with battery life. The leaked Amazon listing mentioned above reveals the display resolution: 2856 x 1280 pixels.
Pixel 11 battery
The leaked Amazon listing we mentioned above gives a specific figure for the Pixel 11's battery: 4,985mAh – essentially in line with the Pixel 10's 4,970mAh cell, confirming that battery capacity isn't changing meaningfully this generation.
That figure has now been independently corroborated by Roland Quandt of WinFuture, a well-known and reliable leaker, who posted the same 4,985mAh capacity on Bluesky alongside battery figures for the rest of the Pixel 11 lineup. The double sourcing makes this one of the more reliable spec figures ahead of the August 12 reveal.
With Qi2 and a reliable battery, the Pixel 11 would be a serious competitor to the likes of the Galaxy S26 (which didn't get Qi2 charging yet again, unfortunately for Samsung fans).
As for battery life, in our extensive tests the Pixel 10 managed 21 hours of web browsing on a single charge, which beat its predecessor, as well as both the Galaxy S25 and the iPhone 17. The phone only struggled in gaming, where it managed only 5 hours, when the S25 managed 12 hours and 20 minutes on the same test.
We don't expect changes in the charging department either, so we're potentially looking at 30 W wired charging and Qi2 support.
Pixel 11 features and software
The Pixel 11 is likely going to come with Android 17. Google has announced the new OS during The Android Show and it's now launched on supported Pixels. The new OS brings Gemini Intelligence with the ability to run complex multi-step automations across different apps.

You'll also gain the ability to create your own custom Material Expressive widget based on a prompt.
A new Rambler feature for Gboard will make sure your dictated text sounds cohesive and consistent and also factor in when you backtrack on your statements or correcting yourself.
To fight doomscrolling, Android 17 brings a new feature called Pause Point, which could help you set timers for distracting apps. App Bubbles are also coming with Android 17, just like chat bubbles, so you can have an improved multitasking experience.
Android 17 is also bringing a plethora of tools for content creators, including improvements to Instagram, Screen Reactions, and the Adobe Premiere app coming later.
The Pixel 10 brought features like Magic Cue (which accesses your Gmail, Calendar, Notes, and Messages and suggests actions during certain interactions), Voice Translate during phone calls, and Camera Coach with suggestions to improve your photography. These are likely making a return with the Pixel 11.
Pixel 11 hardware and specs
Pixel 11's rumored specs:
- CPU: Tensor G6 (2nm)
- RAM: 12 GB
- Battery: 4,985 mAh
- Charging: 30 W wired, Qi2 support
- Storage: 256 GB, 512 GB
- Camera setup: 50 MP main, 13 MP ultra-wide, 10.8 MP 5x telephoto
The new 2nm-built Tensor G6 chip should potentially be the biggest upgrade to the Pixel 11. According to rumors, the G6 is reportedly a seven-core chipset running on a 1+4+2 configuration, which is different from the usual configs of six or eight cores. The processor may be built using TSMC's N2 node and not Samsung's foundry.
According to leaks, the seven-core setup includes an ARM C1 Ultra Prime Core clocked at 4.11 GHz, four C1-Pro Performance Cores clocked at 3.38 GHz, and a couple of C1-Pro Efficiency Cores at 2.65 GHz.
The PowerVR C-Series CXTP-48-1536 GPU is also expected to handle graphics.
This is an unusual architecture that could prioritize efficiency but sacrifice raw gaming power. The Pixel 11 should be able to deliver lag-free battery endurance and run cooler, but the CPU is coupled with an older-generation GPU, meaning mobile gamers might be disappointed by graphics-intensive games.
Meanwhile, an earlier leak hints that the Tensor G6 may come with the Titan M3 security chip. Titan chips act as a hardware-based security model inside the Tensor chipset. The chip is designed to protect sensitive data and manage encryption keys, as well as secure payment transactions.
Accompanying the Tensor G6 would reportedly be MediaTek's 5G modem. The modem is said to offer dual 5G SIM dual-active support and dual data capabilities. It's also relying on AI for efficiency.
Before this switch, Pixel phones came with 5G modems made by Samsung.
Google is also expected to source cheaper RAM from Chinese memory maker CXMT for the Pixel 11 series. The earlier rumor suggesting Google might cut RAM to 8 GB appears not to be panning out – the leaked Amazon listing we mentioned already shows 12 GB RAM across the board.
Google is also working to reduce the memory requirements of Android and its apps as part of a broader effort to manage costs – the goal being to maintain a strong user experience on devices with less RAM. The company has noted that designing its own AI models, software, and chipsets gives it an efficiency advantage for on-device processing.

Should I wait for the Pixel 11?
- You should wait for the Pixel 11 if you are currently using a Pixel 9 or an older device and are planning your next upgrade cycle. The Pixel 11 series will arrive in August 2026, following Google’s established summer launch window. Holding out for those extra months makes sense because the incoming Tensor G6 chip is set to solve the historic thermal throttling and cellular battery drain issues that have plagued older Pixel generations.
- You should not wait for the Pixel 11 if you already have a Pixel 10 or you are a mobile gamer who expects top-tier graphical performance. Early CAD renders and hardware spec sheets reveal that the physical phone size and screen dimensions are remaining completely identical to the Pixel 10, meaning visual and design upgrades will be incredibly minor. Furthermore, leaked documentation indicates Google is using a heavily stripped-down, older GPU architecture in the Tensor G6 to save on manufacturing costs.
