Nokia 701. Is it worth buying now?

I've been contemplating buying the 701 but thought i would wait for today (Nokia world) to see if any new Symbian handsets (701 successors) are announced. But sadly that didn't happen. So is it worth getting the 701?
I am aware that software support is in question and also aware of of Symbian's app ecosystem. I mainly want a device that can play many video codecs, a good camera and good build quality. Is it true that you can use the 701 as a PC?

Nokia 701, unfortunately, has a fixed-focus camera, so I think it's not is the best solution if you want good photo quality (I tried the 701 in a shop, but my old Nokia X6 got better quality photos)... What did you mean, about using 701 as a PC?

I meant activities like transferring documents (word, presentations, spreadsheets) and also creating them on the go. Also, transferring videos without needing to convert them first (regardless of resolution), editing photos and videos, etc... I read that such activities were possible on the 701.
I am aware of the fixed focus camera, but saw some samples online and think it would make for a good point and shoot camera.

Yes, the 701 is able to do these things. You may need some additional applications, but it's not a problem, I think. Only notice that, for example, office functions may not be very handy. Also I don't know will it play FullHD video files, I read that a max supported resolution is 1280x720.

No, my experience is based on my Nokia X6, it's almost the same in case of software.

I read Belle is a massively improved version of Symbian. Would like some inputs from some 701 owners.
