Horrible

My i870 is horrible, sometimes when i try to go to the menu or go to contacts or dial a number or do anything it just closes out of it. I have alot of dropped calls, and my sisters phone who has the same phone has a broken front screen.

i870 garbage phone

this phone was a problem from the start as soon as i got it, it was a nightmare i sent it back 3 times and had the same problems, sevice was good but the phone it self sucked

Just OK

pros:

mp3 ringers
good camera quality
bluetooh
speaker phone

cons:
MMS & SMS arrive hours later after sent to you
bluetooth malfunctions frequently
after 2 months will frequently cut on and off by itself
horrible battery life

It's ok

I purchased this phone on the first day it came out. The phone is ok, I love nextel but they really need to come out with new phones. Man if I wasn't still under contract I would be gone!

Phones

Nextel is going to have to step it up to retain my business. I see all the other companies coming out with phones that are far better then this one with many more options. Enough with the fat worker phones. I want to be able to work without this giant clunker in my pocket. If I wasn't locked in to Nextel I would surely have a razr or a chocolate.

i love the features especially the i tunes. its the best phone i ever had in my whole life and i had five different phones and they all suck

mp3 player

Hey, you need to make sure the mp3 file names are only 32 characters long. Also be sure that the bit rate is 128.
Also downloaded mp3s don't match the requirements needed to be recognized by the phone. You may need to get an audio program that allows you to convert the bitrate to 128. I personally import songs into my music studio software and then convert them by exporting into the 128 bitrate.

NICE PHONE!!!

I have had two Motorola phones from Nextel and so far this is the best one ever. At first I was suceptable to paying the fee for the phone, but in the end, it was worth every penny. This is a nice phone to have. Great quality, great design, and excellent features.

I have to say that this is the best phone I've ever had and I dealt with a lot of phones. To whomever posted,u can use the bluetooth headset for mp3's

worth your money

The phone has a really good use to and the phone has a good amout of useage I love the phone im happy i bought it. the mp3 player has any songs you want to listen to. and if you like to be in fashion the i870 is the phone you want to buy forsure. and the walkie-talkie better than the i860.

Mtorola i870

This is a great phone. It is great for work and play. The i870 might look as cool as the Razr, but it has way better features. So if you are thinking about getting a Razr, you SHOULD consider getting a Motorola i870!

bluetooth - awesome

this is the first iden with bluetooth and it's awesome. also, after getting a 512mb micro sd card, i can use it as an mp3 player while i'm workin out and have my phone at the same time. unfortunately, bluetooth headset doesn't work with the mp3 player, but it's ok. and the reception is much bettre than the i860. got no complaints, just props. finally, motorola did something right!

Don't do it

Man I paid all the money and all I got was a freakin phone that can play music through the speaker. Sure the camara is a little better than the i860, but if pay that much for a phone you would expect some improvements in the areas they lack...stereo ringtones. Nah dude it don't got it. I the other companies had the PPT capability, Sprint would be broke. Ya heard me!
