Photos of HTC Desire EYE leak, confirm 13MP selfie camera
A pair of tweets from Russia includes what appears to be leaked photos of the HTC Desire EYE. As we told you the other day, HTC plans on equipping this handset with a 13MP front-facing camera. If you look closely at the front of the handset by the lens, you can see where it says "13MP Wide Angle". While we have seen a 13MP front-facing camera before on the Oppo N1, that was actually a swiveling camera.

HTC is holding its "Double Exposure" event on Wednesday, and while we are expecting a action camera to be announced by the manufacturer, the unveiling of a selfie phone has been long rumored. The initial rumor pointed to an HTC One (M8) with a 13MP Duo camera (and the same wide angle 5MP snapper that currently adorns HTC's flagship model), but that rumor was apparently false.

The HTC Desire EYE should be available in red and blue. There is speculation that it will come to market IPX7 certified, to withstand a submersion in up to 3.2 feet of water for as long as 30 minutes. With HTC making this phone resistant to water, there might not be a dry EYE in the house.

Yet it still looks better than the iBend 6, which uses poor, low-quality material to comprise the phone; as a result, it bends and has a poor SAR output level in comparison with the competition; which is bad for your health.

Regardless of what individuals think of this phone it will sell some units. I hope HTC makes a Windows version as well much like M8, diversify.

Well... and where the heII did you read that the back has two 13mp cameras? I have a concern because I didn't see it in this article. Either you pulled that from some other article, or you can't read.

There is a thin line between the camera and the display and that is the earpiece. On other pictures you can see it.

Earpiece located at the bottom of the phone. You have to rotate the phone once answeing a call.

and before you know it the massive camera becomes a fingerprint reader and the handset quickly transforms into an iphone.

That's one ugly phone. Huge, no, massive bezels everywhere, and that red/blue band makes it look like it's fitted with some case already.

Beautiful! We had uneven top and bottom bezels on previous HTC phones. Now we can have those beautiful uneven freaking bezels on the sides, too.
I'm doubting this so-called "leak".
