It was just yesterday when we told you that mophie will release a Moto Mod version of its famous Juice Pack that adds an additional 3000mAh of battery power to a Motorola Moto Z device. Today, there is word that Incipio is readying its second Moto Mod. While the company's first modular accessory is the offGRID Power Pack, the new product will be a Vehicle Dock that will allow hands free use of the Moto Z in automobiles. It also will offer Android Auto compatibility.
Other features include a magnetic phone mount, hands-free navigation and calling, and audio integration (using Bluetooth or an AUX cable). With the Moto Mod in place, the Vehicle Dock provides 15W fast charging. A 10-minute drive will provide hours of power for a Moto Z. The dock plugs into the car's cigarette lighter and attaches to an air vent.
Pricing and availability are unknown. We wouldn't be surprised to see the Vehicle Dock released at the same time as the mophie Juice Pack Moto Mod, which is expected to become available before the end of this month.
