On Monday, a video was posted showing a comparison of the Apple iPhone 5S casing in champagne/gold, an Apple iPhone 5C shell in blue and an Apple iPhone 5. Compared to the casing on the premium versions of the iPhone, the plastic candy coated shell of the iPhone 5C certainly looks like something that would be lower down on the pricing scale.
The most interesting news we've heard about the Apple iPhone 5S in the last few days is that the Qualcomm radios on the phone will support China Mobile's proprietary TD-SCDMA network. Considering that China Mobile is the largest carrier on this planet, this could give a big boost to Apple and the iPhone in the region. Remember, it was none other than Apple CEO Tim Cook who once said that China would soon be Apple's top market.
Meanwhile, we are closing in on the two-week warning until September 10th when Apple opens door number one and door number two to introduce the Apple iPhone 5S and Apple iPhone 5C. The tension is rising.
