Latest leaked photos show the Xiaomi Mi 5 dressed in black

Most likely, we will see the Xiaomi Mi 5 finally unveiled sometime next month. The new flagship handset for the upstart Chinese manufacturer will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 chipset, and carry a 5..2.-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. There will be two variants of the device. One, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, is expected to be priced at the equivalent of $378 USD. The other model will feature 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. A 16MP camera will grace the rear of the unit. Xiaomi co-founder Liwan Jiang said last week that the Xiaomi Mi 5 is in the process of being manufactured.

Recent photographic leaks include one press shot that revealed the Xiaomi Mi 5 wearing various colors. The fact that the phone is currently rolling off the assembly line might also account for a video we showed you, displaying the handset in white.
