Huawei's new budget smartphone surfaces with fingerprint scanner on board

This unnamed model is expected to be priced at the equivalent of $161 USD. Amazingly, for that price you will have a push-to-read fingerprint scanner on the back of the device. That means that pricing for fingerprint scanning modules has dropped dramatically to the point where it can be employed on a budget handset.
