HTC Sensation and Sensation XE blessed with ICS, but only in select countries
It looks like some HTC Sensation and Sensation XE owners are already rocking Ice Cream Sandwich on their smartphones. The ICS update for these two handsets has apparently gone live in the Nordic countries (that's Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) with a few users in Germany claiming that they have also received an update notification. The update brings the Android version of these devices to 4.0.3 and comes with Sense 3.6, as HTC promised.

If you have yet to be notified of an update for your HTC Sensation or Sensation XE, be patient as it usually takes a few days before the new software reaches everyone. Furthermore, ICS for these two HTC Sensation smartphones is only being pushed out to unbranded devices at this time. Luckily, it shouldn't take long before the rest of HTC Sensation handsets get blessed with Android 4.0. Or as HTC puts it: "broader availability will come later this month."

Have you received your ICS update already? Let us know what you think of the new software by dropping a comment below.

So have I but it wasn't really great until the final builds up to the release. I notice Chrome now works much smoother.

Nice to see HTC restoring it's reputation as top android manufacturer. They are the first of all these popular brands to release ICS on their flagship phones. God job HTC!
