Cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ are leaked

Cases for the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ are leaked
MobileDirect is a company that distributes accessories for smartphones. As a result, it is able to get pictures, specs and other information pertaining to upcoming models before they are officially unveiled. In the past, the company provided us with images showing dummy models of the Apple iPhone 5 and Apple iPhone 6. This morning, MobileDirect has sent us images showing cases for two unannounced Android handsets. Those two are the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+.

What jumps out at us is the cut out for the camera and the flash for the Galaxy Note 5. Based on this design, we could see the handset come with a camera configuration similar to the layout on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Samsung Galaxy S6 edge. That would result in the flash being placed directly alongside the camera module instead of under it. This dovetails with previously leaked case renders of the Samsung Galaxy Note 5.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 EDGE+ is rumored to be a larger Galaxy S6 edge with changes on the inside (the Snapdragon 808 SoC is expected to replace the Exynos 7420 chipset under the hood) instead of on the outside. As a result, the case for Galaxy S6 EDGE+ case resembles the one for the Galaxy S6 edge except for its size. Take a gander at the cases by clicking on the slideshow below!

Thanks for the tip!

Other than the edge and the pen, I can't tell the difference between them. Seems like Samsung is unifying their designs.

S808 for Edge Plus? Lmao what a joke. 7420 runs circles around 808 and 810 so why would Samsung downgrade?

Yea, i doubt they will even put sd 808 in there. Maybe an enhanced version of exynos 7420.

Are you that idioitic? The edge+ isn't meant to be a MAIN flagship. It's a placeholder until the Note 5 launches and if you think Samsung should place their best technology available in a sub-flagship, you obviously don't know anything. It's ment to be a placeholder to go against the iPhone 6s/plus for people who don't want to wait on the Note 5. They are already trying to shift their flagship release cycles around..

Shut uuuuuup,by the time of the launch the 7420 will be old, so yes, definitely will be on the S6E+ because it's a win win

Even if it's a place holder why would Samsung downgrade? Even when Samsung has option to go for 14nm LPP, ePoP and may be A72 and next generation GPU like T860 or T880 for in note 5.

Hold own bruh, you sound idotic. Why would they add the name plus if it doesn't even have no upgrade in hardware. It is suppose to be a minor upgrade from the s6. So if they are going to add the plus to the end i would suspect it to have better features and technology than the s6. Nothing idiotic about that.

the "Plus" refers to the larger screen size.

"Hold own bruh, you sound idotic." - alaw.14

What is an "idotic"?
If you're going to call someone idiotic, ensure your spelling is up to snuff.

Just because apple's plus definition means bigger screen size doesn't mean everyone else has the same definition. Remember the galaxy s and galaxy s plus, had the same screen size just the plus was beefier in specs. Lhh, get over with the spelling sh!t, no one is going to be a perfect speller and I am typing on keyboard on a phone which is nowhere near as good as a real keyboard. I accidently press the wrong keys or miss something all the time because i have big fingers. You knew what I meant so why do you care? Explain?

That's what I keep reading and saying in pretty much every article. I'll keep my s6 since it's better and get the note 5, which will be a plausible upgrade were the s6 plus even if it did have the 7420, I still can't justify it as an upgrade (bigger screen only) (reserved for note)

Speaker placement will be at the bottom of the note 5! I'll take that then being on the back any day!

If they put the USB Type C 3.1 connector on the Note 5, I think it would greatly reduce the amount of people who want a removable battery, including myself. Fast charging would be insanely fast with that type of connection.

Can anyone explain the keyhole shaped hole at the bottom of the cases for the S6 EDGE+ shown on slides 5 and 6?

It should be for the headphone jack, but it's not round as is usually the case, unlike the equivalent hole for the Note 5 shown in slides 2 and 3.

It's more than likely they just put the microphone hole and headphone jack in the same cutout...
