Apple iPhone 5se in retail box leaks (Update: FAKE!)
UPDATE: Apparently, this is a fake. Sorry, guys, we are people too. We get fooled sometimes.

The 4-inch iPhone is definitely happening, and it won't be called the "iPhone 6c" or "iPhone SE". This is what these leaked photos of the brave little 4-incher in its retail packaging are telling us. We think you'll agree that they look like the real deal, and not like renders or other types of elaborate fakes. The box is clearly labeled "iPhone 5SE" and shows the device in Space Gray, complete with a fishy wallpaper like that of the iPhone 6s.

Inside the box, we see a handset that basically took the best of both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 6/6s' designs. It's covered in curved glass and features a TouchID home button. The design visibly corresponds with the schematics that leaked last week.

The handset will be priced between $450 to $500.

From previous reports, we've came to know that the iPhone 5se is designated with A1622 and A1723 model numbers, possibly differentiating the 16GB / 64GB storage variants. It will be powered by the A9 chip and it will have 1GB of RAM. The handset has a built-in NFC chip and is said to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera, with Live Photos support and 4K video recording in the realm of possibility. Its battery capacity is 1,642 mAh. We also know that the device will not have the iPhone 6s' 3D Touch display, but it will have connectivity options like 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2.

The iPhone 5SE is rumored to launch with at least three color options – Gray, Silver, and Gold – with the possibility of Pink in place of the charming Rose Gold color. The handset will be priced between $450 to $500. Sites such as Macrumors have also stated that the iPhone 5s won't disappear with the launch of the iPhone 5SE, and will be sold by Apple at half the price. The iPhone 5s is currently selling at $450, which means it may be discounted to $225 after the iPhone 5SE's release.

The new 4-inch iPhone's announcement is rumored to happen at a March 22nd event, but the company hasn't yet released any official details or invites to the public.

Looking good? Old iPhone 5SE - There's nothing stunning about that. It's a lower than Mid-range phone. Terrible, just terrible! Apple just keeps releasing new crap that is actually just their old crap. Apple products are so overrated and too expensive. They try to earn money by selling old products renamed. Look that Damn iPhone, it's like an iCoffin. Ancient iCoffin...It's a truly cheap crap. 16GB iPhone is a garbage. Apple is the biggest money sucking company in the world (Apple).

For real there is some lag in the iOS 9.3 beta 4 but there wasn't any in beta 3 they really need to fix it.

Arch acknowledged lag in iOS beta lag, how would he know that if he was using a Samsung?

Hexa also acknowledged lag, but he wouldn't be familiar with said lag if he hadn't been able to use an iPhone or iOS device.

The only fanboy here is you, you need to get your head out your ass and stop raising your blood pressure because of your stupidity.

My sisters iPhone 6sPlus runs incredibly slow with iOS 9, I installed it the first day so it’s not an ‘indexing’ thing, I have set it up as new, I have tried everything – it runs much slower than iOS 8 ever did.

This is awful performance, this is an $849 iPhone that is less than a year old, and Apple has already hobbled its performance with a software update. How is that acceptable? Apple still sells this exact phone! Obviously a big hardware flaw is that it only has 1GB of RAM so it can’t cache anything, but you know what, OPTIMIZE your software and it should run ok! This iOS 9 went through a public beta, nobody noticed their phone was suddenly slogging along in the beta?? Really? I find that hard to believe, or maybe Apple introduced the molasses update in the final version, but wow, iOS 9.1 better fix it!

I followed these tips and yes it does not speed things up, but as you say, the only real feature of iOS 9 is the Siri Suggestions. So you turn off Siri Suggestions and you basically turn off the only new iOS 9 feature… so what’s the point of running this thing? Frankly, iOS 9.1 may well speed things up, but I am going to downgrade back to iOS 8.4.1 and stay there. No new features, only performance suffers, Apple has truly turned into Microsoft with the software updates, what a shame.

Ladies and gentleman; if you like your iPhone the way it is now, don’t update your software! That’s the lesson here.
Lack of Ram and speed.

Can I ask you a serious question?

Why write all of this nonsense, for what? Why waste precious time writing something that isn't even true, the 6S Plus has 2 GB of ram, the phone isn't on iOS 9.1 but iOS 9.2.1 currently at this time lol....

And you can't downgrade back to iOS 8.4.1 with the 6S or for really another other iPhone thats on iOS 9 now

the 6S series phone's are actually blazing fast, the A9 chip is definitely a powerhouse, no phone is perfectly lag free, animations sometimes will be below 60 FPS, it is normal, computers do that, but it is definitely quite a fast phone, flagship devices nowadays offer plenty of speed for most people, more then enough for most surely

What you are typing in the comment sections is equivalent to this=

Oops 2gb Ram.
I had to switch of so many features for it to function lag free. Even the 2gb Ram sucks for this phone. As more features are getting added on iOS, the more it eats up the Ram.

Hey I've never used IPhone since ip4. I was playing around with my sisters ip6s+, so I wouldn't know much about the IOS it's running on. Yes it's iOS.9.2.

Read post 32 first.

iPhone 6S series phones multitask and can hold open just as many apps if not more then competitors, my brother's 6S Plus is faster then my Nexus 6P on 6.0.1, in pretty much every single operation, loading big apps, loading websites, launching apps, etc. Granted, it isn't a big difference, but it is measurable and definitely there.

Like I said, no smartphone is completely lag free, but the 6S series devices are just as consistently fluid as the best any other smartphone has to offer. This is being bluntly objective, Apple A9 SoC absolutely flies and iOS handles 2GB of RAM in the A9 with its LPDDR4 RAM like a boss and certainly handles 2GB of RAM alot better then any other 2GB of RAM device out there that isn't on iOS

The Nexus 5X with it's 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and S808 certainly can't use its 2GB as efficiently as say the A9 does on iOS 9.

Cause of basic users that wont shoot 200 photos a day but more like 20-30 photos a month and for users that just want a reliable phone for phone calls and browsing. Stop mistaking a simple user with a geek like you who needs to shoot 10 hours of 4K video a day.

I don't even do 4K, also don't take that much photos.
The average joe does more video recording than me, and apps sizes are getting bigger and bigger, also, I am fully aware of that "not everyone is a geek"
Geez, you fanboys will defend your beloved product from anything remotely negative said about them.

Specs for specs, that 5S won't be that far behind the new and 'shiny' 5SE...

But then comes Motorola Moto G in my old head and the scenario starting to look like a tad.... 'Interesting'.
