8GB Nook Tablet coming February 22nd to rival Kindle Fire?

The Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet has all it takes to beat the Amazon Kindle Fire in terms of pure specs - it has more memory which can be expanded, plus it offers roughly the same other internals and a distinct design. But this makes it $50 more expensive than the $199 Kindle Fire, and it seems like that’s one thing that might be hindering its sales.
And now, latest rumor has it that an 8 gig version of the Nook Tablet is coming, this time matching the price tag of the Fire. TheVerge stumbled upon some information hinting that an 8GB Nook Tablet is launching on Wednesday, February 22nd.
We even have specifics as the exact time of launch of the yet unannounced device at Walmart - it’s 12:01am on Feb 22nd.
