As per me it is the best phone in its class with many striking features. The sound quality of the music player is the best for a phone in this category .The 1.3 megapixel camera takes crystal clear pictures but resolution is limited to 1280 x 1024.The radio produces stereo quality sound but is a bit squeaky when played at high volumes. It also has mobile tracker which stores upto 2 mobile numbers.

  • The phone settings are a mess you take very long time to get used to it.
  • You cant zoom into the images except the images taken by the phone camera
  • Navigation in the memory card is very cumbersome as you can't slide through the images.
  • It cannot play bigger files of media such as a 3gp movie .
  • The music player supports a very limited playlist(30 songs each in 4 playlists)
  • The headphobnes supplied with the phones are a bit uncomfortable for your ears as the are very thick at the end.

looks good works bad

Hi I purchased this phone, it look very good but the back cover is very tight, also the setting are one hell to adjust, you can create playlist but limited to 30 tracks (selecting is also very tedious), images have colur distortion, videos dont play (except those which are taken by the phone).  if you have track whose name is more than 52 characters, phone will delete it or dont display themthe music player has no personal setting's ( except company's) and the listening is not plesent. you cant do any work when listening the phoneThe srolling of the images present in the card is not there (for images in phone you can scroll), even the music, sounds the scrolling is absent

  • slim
  • good battery life (580ma)

  • dont play videos
  • playlist limited to 30 songs
  • any name of file is limited to 52 characterstics
  • listening music will discharge quickly

Samsung SGH-J150

The looks of the phone are very good. It has got almost all the features that one would expect in this price. color resolution is excellent. battery backup is good. the only problem i have faced is its keypad. it is a bit tight. but overall a satisfactory phone.
