We expect this new color to debut on August 12 along with the new Pixel 11 family. Similar Amazon leaks gave us a hint at the expected colors for the new Pixel 11 family, and now it seems that the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will get at least one of these colors.

Our colleagues at 9to5Google have managed to screenshot the listing (now gone) and showcase the new dark colorway.
Just like the other color variants, only the buds are painted in the dark green hue, while the case is white, or, as Google calls it, "Porcelain."
The currently available colors for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 are Moonstone, Porcelain, Peony, Wintergreen, and Hazel.

We have an extensive Pixel 11 series color leak, detailing all the expected hues for all devices in the Pixel 11 family. One color that stands out is Pine (dark green).
It appears that Google is preparing to offer a matching color for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, although the green looks darker on the screenshot of the buds.
But colors can look vastly different depending on the lighting and, in the case of this screenshot, monitor settings, so we expect the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to launch in Pine, along with the Pixel 11 family.

It's not clear whether Google is preparing more colors for the Pixel Buds Pro 2 to match other Pixel 11 hues, such as Coral-Copper or Fuschia, so we have to wait and see, the official Pixel 11 unveiling is just two weeks away.
Dark green is a rare color in tech

We rarely see dark green gadgets, mainly because this color is associated with military gear. Google is quite bold to offer this hue both on the upcoming Pixel 11 devices and the Pixel Buds Pro 2.
Personally, I quite like it, everything that breaks the status quo is welcomed. Would I buy a dark green Pixel Buds Pro 2? Probably not, as all my wardrobe is in the grey/blue shades. What about you? What's your favorite Pixel Buds Pro 2 color?
