Samsung Gear S3 Frontier and Classic variants drop below $200 at Best Buy
The Apple Watch Series 4 is practically impossible to beat when it comes to smartwatch power, innovation, and above all, utility, but if you can’t afford to pay a minimum of $399 for a GPS and Bluetooth-only variant or $499 and up for cellular-enabled models, there are certainly a few decent alternatives you could consider.

No, not the wildly overpriced LG Watch W7. Probably not the somewhat rudimentary Huawei Watch GT around the corner either. Instead, we’re mostly talking about the freshly discounted, recently released Samsung Galaxy Watch, as well as the older and naturally cheaper Gear S3.

For just 24 hours, you can get Samsung’s 2016 Apple Watch “slayer” in two different styles at an irresistible $189.99 price from Best Buy. The “catch” is you’re looking at certified refurbished products here, although the retailer’s Geek Squad program involves a “rigorous multipoint inspection designed to ensure the highest performance and quality standards.”

In other words, these wearable devices should look and work like new, fetching a whopping 110 bucks less than an actual unused, untouched Samsung Gear S3.

You can choose between Frontier and Classic flavors at that heavily marked-down rate, meaning you’ll either adopt a sporty or elegant look with a silicone or leather band. The color of the case is also different (black for the Gear S3 Frontier and silver for the Classic), but the size is the same, at a fairly cumbersome 46 mm.

The specifications are identical too, including a 1.3-inch Super AMOLED display with a sharp 360 x 360 resolution, IP68 water and dust resistance, 768MB RAM, 4 gigs of internal storage space, a 380mAh battery, Exynos 7270 processing power, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and NFC connectivity, Tizen software, as well as both Android and iOS compatibility.

There’s obviously no ECG monitor, but for $190, you definitely get plenty of bang here.
