OnePlus 16 could preview the iPhone 20's most exciting design upgrade

The tipster mentions that the custom-designed screen of the phone would deliver a crystal-clear viewing experience. By "custom-designed screen," DCS might be referring to the new generation of Oriental screen that OnePlus is believed to use for its upcoming flagship. The main advantage of this is that it will allow the device to offer the rumored 165 Hz refresh rate across all apps, not just in certain games.

Well, looking at the thick bezels of the Pixel 11 series, Google's priority certainly doesn't appear to be reducing the size of the bezels that surround its phone's display.

In addition to information related to the display, many other details of the OnePlus 16 have also surfaced online. A reliable tipster, Abhishek Yadav, recently made a post on X containing a summary of all the rumored specifications of the upcoming OnePlus phone. According to it, the device is going to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro and come with LPDDR6 RAM and UFS 5.0 storage.

There could be a triple-camera setup at the back, with the main shooter being 200 MP. Both the ultra-wide and periscope lenses are reported to be 50 MP. In the front, the phone could come with a 32 MP selfie camera.

OnePlus is most likely to continue its tradition of impressing with the battery numbers, as the smartphone is rumored to have a massive 9000 mAh battery. It could support 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging.

The flagship phone will not launch in the US

OnePlus has officially announced that it has discontinued its services in North America and Europe. This means that if you live in any of these regions, you might not be able to get your hands on the OnePlus 16, though it might still be possible to import it from countries where the device will launch. In fact, many OnePlus fans have mentioned in related Reddit posts that they might consider importing the device from China.
