One of the cheapest Garmin watches has just become a top pick for users on a budget. Over at Amazon, the Forerunner 55, which normally costs around $200, has plunged by 35%, making it a solid alternative to some of the brand's pricier options.
Even though this model isn't the most contemporary addition to the brand's portfolio, it remains a desirable option thanks to its epic battery life and comfortable design. So, if you're looking for an everyday wearable at a super cheap price, this one is for you.
Since this is one of the most affordable Garmin options, it obviously lacks an OLED screen. Instead, you can navigate the timepiece through five buttons. While that may sound like a downside, it can be a very convenient way to switch between menus and apps while exercising.
Since this is a Forerunner model, it's equipped with some specialized features for running. For example, Race Predictor estimates how fast you could complete different race distances based on your current fitness. It also gives you finish time estimates, allowing you to monitor your form and improvement over time.

The model is also equipped with activity profiles for HIIT workouts, pilates, cycling, and more, so even if you're not an avid runner, you can track your activities with ease.
On top of everything else, the wearable has a long battery life. You can expect as much as two weeks of use on a single charge in smartwatch mode. In GPS-only mode, the Forerunner 55 gives you around 20 hours of use.
As you can see, the Garmin Forerunner 55 Music may be an affordable wearable, but it covers all the basics and stands out with a long battery life. If you're tempted, now's your chance to save 35% at Amazon.
