That means you can save $300 on the 256GB variant. To put things into perspective, the S25+'s current price basically matches that of the 256GB Google Pixel 10a. It's one of the best discounts I've seen on this Samsung phone over the past few months, too.
While the Galaxy S25+ has already welcomed a successor, the new generation comes at a higher price without introducing enough hardware changes to justify the cost. For instance, both models pack the same size display: 6.7 inches and feature OLED technology for vivid colors.
Last year's flagship features a pretty capable camera as well: 50MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and 10MP 3x zoom. Generally, photos taken with this model look natural and have good exposure, as you can see from the camera samples in our Galaxy S25+ review.
Even though Samsung has equipped its newer Galaxy S26+ with different chips for different markets, the Galaxy S25+ comes with a Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy in all regions. It gives you excellent performance with various tasks and enables different Galaxy AI features to streamline your daily activities.
In addition, both devices have the same battery capacity of 4,900mAh. However, we've measured that the S25+ lasts a bit longer on a single charge than its successor, giving you over 19 hours of nonstop browsing.
As you can see, the Galaxy S26+ may be the newer option, but it doesn't really bring enough meaningful upgrades to the table. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+ can be yours for just $599.99 right now, making it the better alternative for Android fans on a budget.
