Amazon is offering up to 45 percent discounts on new Fossil smartwatches
Fossil is not ranked among the world's top five smartwatch vendors, but something tells us it would be if the fashion brand consistently charged less money for its arguably stylish and objectively feature-packed Wear OS devices. It's not that the Fossil Sport and Gen 4 lines are overpriced, but limited-time deals offered once every few weeks or so substantially improve the mass appeal of these not-so-popular Apple Watch rivals.

Typically available for $275 a pop, the heart rate-monitoring, location-tracking timepieces can be purchased at a decent $75 discount from their manufacturer's official US e-store right now. But if you don't mind choosing from a smaller selection of models and colors, Amazon will hook you up with a trio of much better deals, most likely in limited quantities.
Two Fossil Gen 4 Explorist variants are up for grabs at a massive 45 percent off their list price (equating to no less than $124.64 in savings), while a single Fossil Sport model goes $120.98 (or 44 percent) off in a smoke/blue combination. The former two watches are available in an elegant silver/brown combo with a stylish leather band or in an all-black color scheme with a silicone strap.
The Fossil Sport also comes with a "sporty" silicone band, standing out from the Gen 4 Explorist primarily thanks to a smaller 43mm aluminum case and a newer Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor under the hood. The Snapdragon Wear 2100-powered Fossil Gen 4 Explorist, meanwhile, features a 45mm case made from premium stainless steel, which nicely complements the interchangeable 22mm band.
Water-resistant and covered by a two-year warranty, the Fossil Sport and Gen 4 share a lot of key specs and features, from the aforementioned heart rate monitoring capabilities and built-in GPS chips to Google Pay support, customizable dials, the same comprehensive system of showing notifications from both iPhones and Android handsets, and "all-day" battery life.
If you're not a fan of these three ultra-affordable models, it's worth pointing out that there are also others you can get on Amazon for lower prices than over at Fossil. A "smoke/black" Sport, for instance, is $108 cheaper than usual, while silver and blue Gen 4 Explorist variants can be had at $112 and $108 discounts respectively.
