Apple's second-gen AirPods with charging case can be yours at a cool $30 discount (if you hurry)
While companies like Sony seem to be looking ahead to a highly anticipated third AirPods generation expected to adopt premium noise cancellation technology, the more basic second edition continues to dominate the thriving global wireless headphones market.

Released just a few months ago in two variants, the refreshed Apple AirPods are typically priced at $159 and up, which isn't exactly affordable. Of course, Sony's brand-new WF-1000XM3 (with noise cancellation) and Apple's own Beats Powerbeats Pro (with a water-resistant design and stellar battery life) are even costlier, at $230 and $250 respectively.

If you don't need a fancy wireless charging case, the "regular" version of the second-gen AirPods can be purchased at a cool discount of $30 today only from Macy's. That may not sound like a mind-blowing deal, but $129 is actually a new all-time low price for these upgraded "magical" earbuds bundled with a wired charging case. The lowest we previously saw the crazy popular wireless headphones going for was $140 over on Amazon, where they're now listed at 5 bucks more.

Technically, you still have plenty of time as we write this to claim the killer "deal of the day" at Macy's, but there's no telling how many units the department store chain has actually prepared for this rare special offer. Solid AirPods discounts are incredibly rare occurrences, tending to spread like wildfire when they do happen, so you might want to pull the trigger as soon as possible.

You even get free nationwide shipping if you order the wireless earbuds online at a marked-down price of $129. What's not to love about these sleek, lightweight bad boys capable of lasting 5 hours between charges on their own and more than 24 hours in uninterrupted listening time when taking into account what the bundled charging case can also offer?
