Xiaomi Mi Note 2 live images appear; view them right now, right here

Rumors about the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 have been circulating since this past summer. Now, as we get closer to the end of the year, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun says that the device is currently being mass produced. There is plenty of excitement surrounding this model, mostly because of the expected high-end specs that it should sport.

Last week, Lei Jun gave us even more reason to anticipate the unveiling of the Mi Note 2. Xiaomi's top executive said that the phone will come with a surprise. The latest rumored specs include a 5.7-inch dual-curved AMOLED display, with a 1440 x 2560 resolution. Most likely we will see the Snapdragon 821 chipset powering the phone. 6GB of RAM is said to be inside with 128GB of flash storage on board. A 16MP dual-camera setup is said to be found on the back of the phone.

A live photo allegedly showing the Mi Note 2 has surfaced in unverified pictures coming from Weibo. The unit appears with very thin borders as you can see from the pictures in the slideshow below. The phablet could be introduced on October 25th.
