Windows Phone version of Flipboard gets bug-killing update
Windows Phone users were so happy to finally be able to download magazine-style newsreader Flipboard, that once the app was available (for free) in the Windows Phone Store, they forgot all about the fifteen months they had to wait for it. And now that Flipboard is available for the platform, Windows Phone users certainly don't want to have to worry about bugs preventing them from using the app.
To that end, those sporting a Windows Phone should be happy to hear that the version of Flipboard for Microsoft's mobile OS, has just been updated to version 2.5.1.0. This update offers some bug fixes and performance improvements. The app now offers support for Windows Phone devices with 512MB of RAM. That will allow the large number of Nokia Lumia 520 users to smoothly run Flipboard.
Other improvements include additional native Windows Phone controls, which should help the app run smoothly. If you already use Flipboard on your Windows Phone device, the update should be reaching you soon.
