Watch a Chinese granny trying to stop Microsoft’s Surface launch event
Yesterday, Microsoft officially launched Windows 8 and its Surface tablet with huge events across the globe. How did it go? We watched the U.S. event and it was all very dynamic, with fun demos like dropping the tablet live on stage.

In China, the event was a bit louder. Microsoft launched the Surface tablet in Beijing with cheering, dancers and much fanfare. A little bit too much for a Chinese granny. Worried about her grandchildren not being able to fall asleep, the woman stomped on stage right in the middle of a performance from a dancing crew, waving vigorously at the camera and audience to stop the event.

The security guards quickly jumped on stage just as the dancers started getting confused. Take a look at this funny incident, and watch how the woman’s husband obviously also loyally followed his wife to try and help her.

The show never actually stopped and Microsoft managed to launch its Surface tablet in China after all.
