Verizon's Motorola XOOM tablet receives new software update
Even though the Motorola XOOM tablet has been out for nearly two years, we're glad to see that it occasionally does receive software updates from Verizon.

The newest software update (version JZO54M) started rolling out a couple days ago.

This update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean includes Google Now, an updated notification screen, improved voice search, adaptive keyboard that improves over time to help predict the user's next word, revised settings menu, added a search option to the YouTube app, the "Accounts & Sync" is now located in the accounts group, and enhancements to the modem to improve data connectivity.

This may also be one of the last updates for the XOOM, since it is not expected to get Android 4.2.

Well that "today's situation" has been happening for a good while, but the word is just now getting out.

well before we sort of thought it was happening. remember eagle eye movie? so this is no shock but one doesnt feel like lunatic while pointing out such government spy programs. most people really got nothing to hide but its parannoying knowing my webcam and mic is undersurveillance. let alone online comments and accounts.
