Update optimizes the Foursquare app for iPhone to offer photo viewing within streams
Foursquare junkies will surely enjoy the latest update for the Foursquare app for iPhone seeing that it’s being optimized to bring some character to those usually mundane looking streams.
Showing some much needed polish and character, users now have the ability to view photos from within their own streams and that of their friends. Of course, it’s nice seeing that everything is being populated in the same area – thus, giving you all the relevant information you need with your check-ins.
Additionally, the interface has been updated as well to have a cleaner look – while bringing on the much-wanted ‘bigger tap targets.’ Specifically, gone are those tiny looking comment bubbles placed next to your friend’s check-in, but rather, it’s been increased in size to provide easier access to them.
Again, it goes to show how Foursquare favors the iPhone app more than others, however, the BlackBerry and Android apps will be updated in the near future to include the new features.
