However, they really don’t need to worry that much since Foursquare is gracing its iOS app with a new version that packs along that new notifications center that Android users have been enjoying for some time now. Basically, the notification center is the centralized hub that populates any pertinent alerts – like when friends comment on your check-in, when someone completes a tip of yours, or if someone is asking to be a friend. Obviously, you’ll know the amount of new alerts based on the number that pops in the bubble that's placed along the top header bar with the app.
Besides that one new item, the only other notable ones include getting special deals from services like LivingSocial, GiltCity, and more. So if you haven’t done so already, make sure to download the latest version of the Foursquare app for iOS.
