Even though some might argue that there are still some loopholes surrounding Foursquare, the latest version for Android addresses a few of them. No, it won't prevent some users to check-in to a location when they're not actually there. Instead, it solves the problem of some of those places where you find the wrong information regarding specific venues. Users will come to appreciate this update for the popular Android app as it allows you to flag venues so that it can be addressed by the developer. You can flag places for having the wrong description, being closed down, being a duplicate, or just having an incorrect address – which some of these can be tasking to users as they attempt to check-in to as many venues as possible. So if you tire of not being able to become the mayor of your favorite lunch spot because of one of the many reasons explained earlier, then make sure to upgrade to the latest version to address them.
