U.S. Cellular, continuing the spirit of their 'Belief Project,' is offering impressive discounts on new smartphone accounts. From now til November 29th, they are extending a $150 credit to customer accounts when they activate a new smartphone. What's more, this offer also applies to existing customers upgrading from feature phones.
Edward Perez, VP of Marketing for U.S. Cellular says that they "want to remove barriers for consumers who've heard about everything we have to offer and are ready to experience something better." That's big talk for such a small carrier, but the deal is irrefutable. When you consider the already low cost of their plans, a $150 credit is like 2 free months.
The $150 credit extends to most all of their smartphones, but there are additional Black Friday deals. The Samsung Mesmerize, a Galaxy S device, is available for $99.99 after an $80 mail-in rebate. Also, the Samsung Acclaim and LG Apex Android devices are available for free after $80 mail-in rebates.
Most of us just feel more comfortable going with one of the top-four carriers, but these deals are pretty darn tempting. Good luck deciding between all the great Black Friday deals available.
Mint Mobile is now allowing you to get whichever plan you like for either three, six, or 12 months for just $15/mo. If you go for the six-month unlimited service, for instance, you'll now have to pay just $90 upfront instead of $210.
