Samsung's Acclaim launched today by U.S. Cellular
As we have reported, Regional carrier U.S. Cellular is exclusively launching the Samsung Acclaim today. The model is powered by Android 2.1 and features a 3.2 inch screen, a landscape sliding physical QWERTY keyboard and a 3.0MP camera. The carrier has placed some apps on the phone right out of the box like The Weather Channel, Evernote and Twidroid. You will be able to choose among 120,000 ringtones and ringbacks in the Tone Room Deluxe app, also pre-loaded on the handset. A new navigation service developed by TeleNav,  "Your Navigator Deluxe" is installed right out of the box and the cost is included in the $30 monthly smartphone plan offered by U.S. Cellular.
