OnePlus 3 price rumor will have you salivating; more picture samples are outed

OnePlus will introduce the OnePlus 3 on June 14th via an event featuring VR. If you are planning on buying the OnePlus 3, you should have your Loop VR headset at the ready, the Loop app installed on your Android powered handset, and a credit card with enough money to cover the purchase of the phone. How much will that be? All we have to go by for now are rumors. The speculated price range is $349-$425 which will cover six variants. These include 4GB RAM with 32GB, 64GB and 128GB of native storage aboard. Or, consumers can select a model containing 6GB of RAM with 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal memory.

As enticing as the pricing sounds, the actual range might be even lower. A Weibo user with the handle @Reviewer says that the low-end of the OnePlus 3 pricing range will start at 1999 Chinese Yuan. Based on current exchange rates, that works out to $305 USD. That would be for the model with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of native storage, and would make the OnePlus 3 quite an attractive buy for many. We should learn all about the pricing for the phone next Tuesday. Until then, you should take this rumor with a grain of salt.

In the meantime, OnePlus sent out a tweet with four pictures taken from the rear camera on the OnePlus 3. Check them out by clicking on the slideshow below. The rear camera on the phone weighs in at 16MP. For you selfie snappers, there will be an 8MP front-facing shooter. The handset is equipped with a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. The Snapdragon 820 SoC is under the hood with a quad-core 2.15GHz CPU and the Adreno 530 GPU. A 3450mAh battery keeps the lights on, and Android 6.0.1 is pre-installed.
