Teaser for honor S1 smartwatch shows it will share an October 18th unveiling with the 6X phone

A teaser surfaced this morning that reveals that Huawei sub-brand honor is about to introduce a new smartwatch called the honor S1. The teaser shows a round watch dial with the S1 logo in the middle. The Android Wear powered timepiece is supposed to come with a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen carrying a 400 x 400 resolution.

512MB of RAM is inside the wearable, along with 4GB of native memory. Keeping the watch ticking is a 300mAh battery. Pricing and other information is unknown at the moment, although all of the information we need to know about is just a week away from being announced. That's because the teaser shows that the honor S1 will meet the light of day on October 18th.

If October 18th sounds familiar, it happens to be the date when the honor 6X smartphone is introduced. Invitations have already been sent out for the event. Check in often as we expect to see more leaks related to the honor S1 and 6X right up to the official introduction of both devices.
