T-Mobile to launch Samsung Galaxy Exhibit May 29th, Samsung Galaxy S III LTE on June 5th?
A leaked internal T-Mobile memo gives us a launch date for the LTE version of the Samsung Galaxy S IIIthat has started shipping to stores, as we told you on Saturday. According to the memo, the handset will be released on June 5th and will replace the current version of the phone that relies on HSPA+ for 4G speeds. When T-Mobile introduced the phone last year, it was with the understanding that an LTE version would replace it once the carrier started building out its 4G LTE pipeline.

When the Samsung GALAXY Note II was launched four months later, it included a dormant LTE radio that was turned on with a firmware update allowing owners of the device to keep their phone and still get LTE connectivity.

Meanwhile, on May 29th the carrier will launch the Samsung Galaxy Exhibit which is a variant of the Samsung Galaxy S III mini with a 4 inch WVGA display and a dual-core 1GHz processor under the hood. A 5MP camera is at your beck and call on the back of the phone and Android 4.1 is pre-installed.

There is no pricing information on either phone at this time, but as we get closer to each model's respective launch date, we should hear something on that end. Stay tuned!
