Even though smartphone cameras have improved greatly over the years, no magazine publisher in his or her right mind would ever use one to take the photograph for that week's cover. Or would they? The latest issue of Sports Illustrated features a cover that was shot using the Hasselblad True Zoom Moto Mod attached to the Moto Z handset. Besides offering 10 X optical zoom, the Hasselblad True Zoom comes with professional settings which allowed photographer Mike LeBrecht to produce images as good as the ones he took using a professional camera.
The photo of Dwayne Johnson used on the cover was shot in Beverly Hills on November 14th. And while LeBrecht had professional lighting equipment to enhance the final look of the photo, it should make Moto Z owners feel good knowing that with one Moto Mod attachment, they can shoot professional quality pictures using their phone. Hasselblad is a well known name among professionals in the industry, and if you're looking to use the rear snapper on your Moto Z for pictures a little more important to you than what you had for lunch that day, you might want to consider buying the Hasselblad True Zoom to go along with your Moto Z Droid or Moto Z Force Droid.
