Sony Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact prices leak out

In the past few weeks, we've seen quite a lot of leaks for Sony's upcoming high-end duo - the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact. While we have a pretty good idea on how the handsets are going to look as well as some of their most important specs, information about their pricing was scarce - until now, that is.

In his typical fashion, reliable tipster Roland Quandt took to Twitter to reveal the supposed price tag for each device:

Sony Xperia XZ1: 599 GBP. XZ1 Compact: 499 GBP

So, £599 for the XZ1 and £100 less for the Compact. When converted, these numbers translate to a MSPR of about €650 (~$766) for the former and €542 (~$638) for the latter. Of course, keep in mind that retail prices in the US tend to be lower, so we expect the XZ1 and XZ1 Compact to sell for respectively $700 and $600 upon their release in the North American country.
