Sony Xperia Tablet Z benchmark results

The Snapdragon S4 Pro – we've seen it powering quite a few high-end smartphones already, haven't we? However, tablets that have the said Qualcomm chip under their hood are scarce. One of them is the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, which is now on display at MWC 2013. Needless to say, we gave it a try. One of the things we tested was its APQ8064 system-on-a-chip with quad-core CPU clocked at 1,5GHz and Adreno 320 graphics, all topped off with 2GB of RAM.
Perhaps we aren't going to surprise many of you if we say that it scores quite high on Quadrant. Not as high as other devices that we've seen, but still, its result is great considering how many pixels the silicon needs to push. To find out what the exact figure of our Sony Xperia Tablet Z Quadrant benchmark was, just watch the video below!
- Display 10.1" 1920 x 1200 pixels
- Camera 8.1 MP / 2.2 MP front
- Processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro, Quad-core, 1500 MHz
- Storage 16 GB + microSDXC
- Battery 6000 mAh
Seriously considering the Tablet Z, does anyone know any other Quadrant scores of tablets? i.e. Nexus 10, Galaxy note 10.1, iPad 4 etc etc? Would be much appreciated!

If you put any trust in Quadrant scores you could use them to prove that dancing naked for 5 minutes in your garden affects device performance. Case in point is that you can touch a device and give better prediction for performance than a quadrant score can give you. Someone should kill that benchmark app!

u really mad bro! it a simple tick u bloody idiot! here's the deal in plain words, any tech equipment (eg, PC, Laptops, Tablets etc) with better hardware-to-software stabilization ratio would perform better in a given set of benchmark tools than the inferior ones (i.e with porr Hardware-to-Software stabilization ratio) and vice versa... hence, benchmark apps are the real tools for determining the best perfomance out of any tech gadget u can find... if u or anyone else still does not understand this even yet, should kill themselves...

It most likely has one of the best benchmarks as it´s one of the first ones using the Qualcomm S4 Pro instead of the Tegra 3. Nexus 10: 4700 Galaxy Note 10.1: 5500 iPad 4: as far as I know they don´t have Quadrant. But as rd_nest said, don´t trust Quadrant too much, it´s better if you check Geeckbench for CPU and GLBenchmark for GPU.

The S4 quad bests any other processor in an android tablet at the moment. 100% fluidity in my experience. Especially noteable is the Adreno 320 which absolutely dominates the GPUs of the the android competition and will really help keep those pixels moving smooth.
