Second maintenance ROM upgrade makes its way to Verizon's HTC Touch Pro2
Now that there is a second Windows Mobile Professional handset packing a QWERTY keyboard on Verizon's lineup, some may have thought that the HTC Touch Pro2 won't be getting as much love as it used to. Considering that it has been the face and name for Windows Mobile for a long time, Verizon's HTC Touch Pro2 is getting a minor treat thanks to a maintenance ROM update. This is actually the second time the handset is seeing one as it features things like improvements to the Sense UI, visual voice mail is now preloaded on the handset, GlobalAccess Connect support, enhanced VZ Navigator performance, addition of a compact QWERTY keyboard option, and a host of others to make it a worthwhile upgrade. Even to this day, the HTC Touch Pro2 could be thought of as one of Verizon's best selling Windows Mobile handsets. Naturally it would still be in contention for Verizon's love as it undoubtedly is seen as a decent offering to the platform.
