US Cellular officially getting the Samsung Acclaim on July 9th

Samsung USA is on an announcement roll recently, with its caring attention now spanning to the smaller mobile carriers in the US. The rumored July 9th launch date of the Samsung Acclaim heading for US Cellular is now officially confirmed by Sammy. It's $99.95 after an undisclosed mail-in rebate, in case you were wondering. The perk here is $20 gift card valid for purchases on the Android Market.

The Samsung Acclaim is running Android 2.1, has 3.2” touchscreen and a side-sliding keyboard. It has a 3MP camera with LED flash, and a 4GB memory card is included in the package. US Cellular has preinstalled some of its free services on the phone, noteworthy of which are a contacts backup app, and the free Your Navigation Deluxe GPS software.
