Samsung Gem dummies show up at Verizon stores

We recieved the three images below from a Verizon store that shows they now have a dummy unit of the Samsung Gem SCH-i100. Though a release date and pricing isn't set yet, US Cellular has it for $29.99 and Alltel sells it for free (after rebate) with a 2-year contract.

The Samsung Gem runs on Android 2.1 Eclair and features an 800MHz processor, 3.2" 240x400 resolution touchscreen display with anti-scratch and anti-smudge protective layer, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, EVDO Rev A, and a 3.2MP autofocus camera. We're not sure why the Gem was delayed, as it was shown in a Best Buy ad for Verizon last September, but I guess later is better than nothing.
