Leaked Samsung Galaxy S10+ screen protector shows off Infinity-O display, thinner bezels

Leaked Samsung Galaxy S10+ screen protector shows off Infinity-O display, thinner bezels
A post discovered on Weibo (via Twitter tipster Ice universe) allegedly reveals a screen protector for the Samsung Galaxy S10+. The accessory includes two cutouts in the upper right corner to match the in-screen camera sensors for the phone's Infinity-O display. The bezels are thinner than seen on last year's model, and the top bezel has a cut out for the speaker. The  phone will also feature curved edges.

In addition, the same Weibo page shows images comparing the bezels on the Galaxy S10+ screen protector with the bezels found on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and the Apple iPhone X. Back in October, there was talk that the Galaxy S10+ will carry a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. That compares with the 83.7% on the Galaxy S9+, 84.3% ratio on the iPhone XS Max, and the 87.8% screen-to-body-ratio of the Mate 20 Pro. A browser benchmark test also provided data indicating that the Galaxy S10+ will feature thin bezels and a 19:9 aspect ratio.

The Samsung Galaxy S10+, and the Galaxy S10, are both expected to be introduced during a Samsung new product event on February 20th. Traditionally, Samsung introduces the latest Galaxy S handsets just prior to the opening of the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona. In 2019, MWC will run from February 25th to February 28th.

I'm still a little iffy on the camera part, but the rest is looking quite nice. I'm waiting for the king though, Note 10 cometh.

I'm not iffy, I hate it. If the Note 10 has a hole in the screen, I may have to go with something else. No holes, no notches, no display interruptions. And I was really looking forward to the in display FPS.

The pin hole I quite like but the pill cut out is to big. Who needs a bloody wide angle selfie lens. Overall the phone is shaping up to look amazing with the usual rich feature set. Torn between the standard S10 and plus model. Coming up from the s8 and fancy a massooooove phone, but that pill hole #eyesore. Excited for the a50 to!!

It's not to big, it's too big. like it's not infinity o, it's infinity oo I agree about the wide angle selfie lens, common selfie cameras distort faces allready. So best solution is a back display to take selfies with the best camera of the phone, the main one

I'm all on the Note 10. It'll be way too much of a killer device, to skip it over a little hole.

I agree, if rumours of the note 10 being 6.7 screen, a small hole won't be to Intrusive

Waiting on the note 10, best of the best. I would rather have thin bezels but like the screen holes better. I also cant wait to see what this folding phone will be like.

I'm wondering about it too. I'm not too sure I can get into the folding phone thing, but I sure will see.

Yeah, not sure about the folding phone yet. If it goes over good and they have a second generation that will be the one to go with i think, first generation will be the tester.

The camera hole looks like it’s lower then the Pixel 3 notch. It will take a huge black bar for media. At least the new Note will have a huge screen from the reports.

A hole and a bezel on top and bottom, ugly!

Try a massive unibrow on for size.

That pill is worse than the notch, tbh.

I'd rather have the smaller s10, why would anyone want less screen real estate for a small increase in front facing camera quality.

It's becoming more apparent that the cutouts are real. For me, I'll take an s9 layout ALL DAY over the notch/cut out

I see ppl in the comments are willing to deal with the cutouts on the note10. Not me. The current galaxy's are fine. A couple millimeters of bezel for the camera. It's not a big deal imo. Cutting parts of the screen is, with a notch or a cutout. Also, the notes are getting dumb expensive. Samsung is pricing me out. Not bc I cannot afford it, rather I'll be damned if I pay that much. Idk what it does.
