It's already common knowledge that Samsung is readying the
Galaxy Note 9 for an
August 9 unveiling, but there are some aspects about the phone that we haven't yet talked about. If you're one of the many fans of the Note series who can't wait to get his hands on the upcoming flagship, here are a few details about the phone that you might not have known yet.
Many pictures of the
Samsung Galaxy Note 9 that leaked recently show the front and back sides of the phone, but few reveal the actual positioning of the various ports and buttons on the edges. The image above confirms Samsung hasn't dropped the 3.5mm audio jack, which can be found on the bottom side, near the USB charging port.
Also, the left side of the phone features a dedicated Bixby button, which isn't really a surprise considering the fact that
Samsung plans to announce the improved Bixby 2.0 along with the Galaxy Note 9.
There are two volume keys below the Bixby button, but the right side doesn't seem to house any other keys or ports. Aside from the USB charging port and the headphone jack, the bottom side accommodates a mic, a small loudspeaker, and the
colorful Bluetooth-enabled S Pen.
