Samsung Galaxy Note 5 running Android 7.0 Nougat spotted on GFXBench

8comments

Last month we came across rumors that Samsung will be bringing Android 7.0 Nougat to the Galaxy Note 5. There might be some truth to the rumors, as Nougat has been added as a supported OS for the Galaxy Note 5 on GFXBench.

This, however, is not an official confirmation in any way. In fact, Samsung has yet to let users know if the Galaxy Note 5 or the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge will be getting the upgrade to Nougat. Considering that both have made an appearance with Google's latest OS version on GFXBench, though, it's highly likely that it will happen some time after the official release of Android 7.0 for Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.

In the meantime, all we can do is sit and wait patiently for a word from Samsung.
