Rogers to offer Xperia X1 in limited cities on June 9th?

Sony Ericsson's high end Windows Mobile touchscreen, the Xperia X1, will be offered by Rogers in selected Canadian cities on June 9th, according to a BGR source. For the launch, only Rogers stores with consistently high data sales will be participating. Full retail launch is expected on June 30th. A introductory price of $249.99 with a 3 year deal is expected to eventually settle to a $299.99 price with a non contract price between $649 and $749. For the panel based handset, it will be its debut as a carrier offereddevice in North America which means it is only a border line away fromAT&T in the States. Just sayin'.
