Presence of fashion magazines at Apple's September 9th event hints at iWatch unveiling this Tuesday
Besides the usual media names that will be attending Apple's September 9th event, Apple has invited a particular group of writers and bloggers that normally don't receive an invite to the annual unveiling of the iPhone. That would be those editors and journalists in the fashion industry. It is believed that inviting top fashion editors to Tuesday's event, is an indication that the long awaited Apple iWatch will be revealed alongside the 4.7 inch and 5.5 inch Apple iPhone models. Also rumored to be released on Tuesday is the Apple iPad Air 2, and a revamped Apple iPad mini with Retina display.

But it is with the iWatch that Apple has the opportunity of recapturing the innovation mojo that left the company following the 2010 introduction of the Apple iPad. This will be the first new product to come out of Apple since the death of Steve Jobs, and as such, it is important for the company to show the world that Apple still has fuel in the innovation gas tank.

In other years, Apple would hold a special event for fashion editors in New York so that they could review the new iPhone from a design perspective, and interview the team in charge of creating that design. This year, fashion editors and blogs will be sitting right next to the tech writers, each with their own slant on things.

Unlike a smartphone or a tablet, which you wouldn't really consider to be a fashion accessory, watches have long been considered part of the fashion industry. Therefore, the fact that Apple is inviting the fashion press to Tuesday's event is a strong indication that we will see the iWatch unveiled on September 9th. As far as the actual launch is concerned, we still might not see the product available to consumers until 2015.

Time to see what Apple has been cooking over the year..!!. If iPhone 6 turns out be similar to the leaks, then it probably would be the ugliest iPhone till date. But I am more interested in iWatch...

I personally like the large bracelets style watches like on the concept but we all know what's going to happen here apple is going to talk about them first then they are going to make fun of Android Wear before they take everything that AW did

They make fun of all other products but not to forget here that all other products are way better than Apple's recent announcements. No wonder Samsung has and will have those brilliant ads to mock any iDevice against their beasts..

Why else would they invite 7,000 ( !!!! ) people to this event, up from 300 people the past several years. ----- Also, off topic, does anyone know where I can view compared speed results and good coverage areas for my specific location (Fairfield County of Connecticut) for T-Mobiles current network (nothing from several years ago) ?

I highly doubt that.....

Your doubt is not grounded in facts, so it is irrelevant. Apple has crushed Samsung so much that the chaebol ought to change its name to "Black Pepper." No device from Samsung that competes with an Apple product has come out on top, so if not "Black Pepper," maybe "Second Fiddle"?

hahahahahha such a butt hurt iFan speaking the language of an Apple employee. Get a life mate and get your facts right. You can't name a single device which Apple can compete against any of the Samsung device. Even their new Gear S will win against any of the iDevice in the benchmarks hahahaha

Did your parents have any children who lived? Benchmarks? These companies don't do it to win benchmark wars, they do it to make money. No Galaxy model outsells the iPhone, no Samsung computer outsells it's corresponding Mac, no Samsung MP3 player outsells the iPod, and no Samsung tablet outsells the iPad. I would tell you to get your facts straight, but I think we should be concerned with just basic literacy for you.

Although I do agree with you, there is a big but How many brands make iOS devices (phone tablet or music player)? 1 How many brands make OSX devices? 1 Apple makes a lot of great products and they sell great. But they don't have to worry about any competition within iOS & OSX. Samsung has to compete not only with Apple, but every brand that makes Android phones/tablets and Windows/Chromebook computers.

iPhone, iPod, iPad, Mac. I just named four. If he needs to get a life, then so do you fanboy. We all come to this site, and rep our fav products. You just get bent outta shape, when someone reps apple, cuz you don't like em, little baby hahahaha.

Is Apple leaving anything for October lunch. Usualy they have another keynote later in the year for iPad. Looks like they don't think iPad is that important anymore for their bottom line.

Apple is expected to unveil Apple iPad Air 2 and a revamped iPad mini with Retina display on Tuesday...could be nothing left for October. Alan F.

I'm guessing maybe iPad's and laptops. I don't expect new designs for either, only upgraded specs, so I'm not sure that warrants a whole press conference.
