Starting tomorrow, October 20th at 3pm EDT, Pokemon GO players will start to notice the latest Halloween treats from game developer Niantic. First, you can change your avatar for the event by having it wear Mimikyu’s Disguise Hat. Catching, hatching and transferring Pokemon will earn you double candies, and your buddy Pokemon will find candy twice as fast during the Halloween event, which ends on November 2nd at 4pm EDT.

Pokemon like Gastly, Drowzee, Cubone will be found in greater numbers just like last year, and this time they are bringing some third generation pocket monsters like Sableye and  Banette to the game for their Pokemon GO debut. During the Halloween event, iconic Pokemon Pikachu will be wearing a special costume. Special boxes from the in-game shop will offer items like Raid Passes and Super Incubators. And there is more. In December, the Pokemon first seen in the Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire video games will start showing up in Pokemon GO.

Niantic is also asking game players to use the Pokemon GO AR camera to take "festive" Halloween photos and share them on social media using the hashtag #PokemonGOHalloween.
