Pantech IM-A830S will have Snapdragon S4, HD screen and Android ICS
Benchmark test scores of the upcoming Pantech IM-A830S (likely a codename) reveal that the manufacturer is ready to step up its game with a high-end handset of its own.

The flaghsip it will pit against the HTC One X, LG Optimus 4X HD and so on, will feature a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset of the MSM8960 variety, meaning LTE will also be on board as part of an integrated miltimode solution.

Pantech IM-A830S will also sport an HD display of unknown size with 720x1280 pixels of resolution, with some of these pixels reserved for Android 4.0 on-screen navigational buttons, since the resolution is listed as 720x1196.

The phone is pretty certain to appear on South Korea's SK-Telecom first, as that's what the model number suggests, but it's a hint what we might be getting stateside from Pantech as well. If the Pantech Vega LTE is any indication, we might also be getting some sort of gesture-based navigation as well.
