I’m happy to report that Amazon has thought of gym rats ahead of this October Prime Day. The Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, which are among the best workout earbuds on the market, are now discounted by $70, allowing you to score a pair for just south of $180—the lowest price these puppies have ever hit on Amazon.

Just don’t waste time and pull the trigger as soon as possible, as Amazon is full of bargain hunters right now, and chances are some of them are looking for the exact same pair of top-tier earbuds for working out.

The biggest highlight of these fellas is surely their dedicated ear hooks, which ensure they stay firmly locked in place even during more intensive stuff like sprinting and jumping. And that’s a big selling point, as I can’t tell you how annoying it is to constantly push your earbuds back in your ears while running on the treadmill.

As expected from Beats, you get way more than just a stable fit from these flagship earbuds, as they offer top-tier sound with deep bass. They also feature capable ANC, but I should warn you it’s not on the level of the active noise cancelling on other earbuds like the AirPods Pro 3 and the Sony WF-1000XM6.

On the plus side, you get fantastic battery life with up to 45 hours of total playtime, including the case. They're also IPX4-rated to handle sweat and splashes from any angle, making them tough enough to survive your most intense gym sessions.

Another highlight is their heart rate sensor, which I’m not sure how much you’re going to use, especially if you use a smartwatch or another wearable to keep tabs on such metrics, but it’s there if you need it.

Overall, the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 are pretty amazing earbuds for the gym. You just put them in your ears, blast a bass-heavy beat, and unleash the gym rat in you, knowing that they will stay snug in your ears regardless of the exercise you’re doing. So, don’t hesitate and save while the deal lasts!
